Welcome to the St Albans and District Local Strategic Partnership website
The St Albans and District Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) is a group of key local public, private, voluntary and community sector organisations working together to improve the quality of life for everyone in the District.

Every local authority area in England has to have a Local Strategic Partnership. The role of the LSP is to plan and deliver on the priorities set out in the area’s Community Strategy – the blueprint for the future development of the area they serve.
We have called our Community Strategy - ‘Shaping our District together for 2021’- because it is only by working together that we can achieve local people's vision for the future of the District.
The development of this strategy is community led - residents and local organisations were involved inpreparing the original strategy and we review it with them on a regular basis to ensure it continues to reflect their needs and aspirations.
